FRONT END CAP DETECTION VALVE

The Norgren Smart Crust Breaker knows when it has fully out-stroked and has minimal dwell in the pot. As soon as full out-stroke is reached (crust is broken) it will immediately return to full in-stroke.

REAR END CAP DETECTION VALVE

The Norgren Smart Crust Breaker knows when it has fully in-stroked so it can switch to low holding pressure, maintaining its’ position by automatically compensating for any air leakage.

Benefits:

• Air saved = money saved; in-stroke position held at low pressure
• Auto-feed option - uses a signal to prompt alumina feed
• Alarm option; no signal means in-stroke not completed – can immediately investigate why
