While many of the current air accessory functions found within a truck are still controlled with pneumatic dash valves, many OEM's are now replacing their dash switches with Solenoid Valve Arrays. The main benefits behind doing so are simplified air line routing, a more modular approach in manufacturing and reduction of truck complexity.

CUSTOMIZED VALVE ARRAYS: For a number of Global OEM's, we have combined discrete valves into an array which can then be used for controlling all air accessories on trucks and buses. SMART ARRAYS: Our Smart Valve Arrays do more than just control the air accessory applications. With added functionalities, they can be used to control your suspension system or height control.
The solution shown to the left is one of our Modular Solenoid Valve Array, which can provide a mounting for up to seven solenoid valves, with single point connections for pneumatic supply and electrical harness. Valve options include normally closed, normally open, and high-flow, normally closed valves for air horn applications. Also available with patented shuttle valve for latching the output of the valves in the key-off position. |
