Engine Brake

Our Control Engine Brake technology includes our ND3 Proportional Cartridge Valve technology as well as a pressure sensor for monitoring the exhaust gas pressure in a closed loop system.   Each solution is designed to match the application and specific needs of the customer. For one global OEM, we provided precise pneumatic control of the "hot side" exhaust valve brakes, including monitoring of exhaust back pressure via a pressure sensor.   Variations such as the the housing shape & size, pressure sensor range, fittings, and electrical connectors can all be specified depending on your needs.

Future developments within this area include integrating the Engine Brake with the EGR systems, as well as further developing our Engine Flap technology.
