Trailer brake valves are dash-mounted components used to proportionally control the service brakes on the trailer, or in some applications the rear axle brakes on a truck. These valves have been custom designed for specific OEM's to complement their dashboard styling and mounting requirements.
One such global OEM came to us as they were looking for a new trailer hand brake which could be mounted on the dash. Previously, it had been mounted on the stearing column, however they wanted to place an automated manual transmission shifter there instead. |

We were able to design a customized, robust and cost effective solution. The Hand Brake Valve came with a novel swivelling valve body that allowed the ports to be easily repositioned to best adapt to "behind the dashboard" routing. |
