Norgren is an important pneumatics supplier to the textile industry and many of our customers are market leaders in textile machinery. Our products are designed to be durable and hardwearing and for use anywhere in the world, for instance in extreme temperatures or where air quality is poor. Buschjost valves are frequently used in the pre-spinning processes, such as mixing, where there is a high dust, dirt and water content. Norgren has many years expertise in providing solutions to the textile industry to control tension on yarn, fabric, or on the warp.
For the winding of synthetic or cotton yarn, for example, highly accurate regulation is often required. Our R27 regulator provides open loop control to a regulation accuracy of 0.005% and is used by a number of customers worldwide.
Our products achieve a high degree of flexibility on the dyeing center and very consistent results, thus meeting the key requirements for the dyeing process. Norgren builds complete control systems to order, to meet this demand for flexibility, depending on the requirements of each machine. Other applications of Norgren products include screen printing machines, high speed doffing and compact valve island systems for spinning machines.
