Bulky sterilizers and the need to dismantle dental instruments for disinfection after use costs the dental surgery valuable space and time. Norgren’s customer is a leading manufacturer of dental instruments and sterilizers, needing a solution for fluid controls.
NORGRENSOLUTION
Working with its customer, Norgren has developed an integrated solution including FAS solenoid valves, pressure regulators and relief valves. The system enables delivery of disinfecting agents and cold water directly to all parts of the dental tools. This allows them to be cleaned without the need for heating or dismantling.

By integrating all necessary components into one system, Norgren has helped its customer reduce assembly time and costs as well as significantly reducing the machine’s size.
FLOW CONTROL IN OXYGEN CONCENTRATORS
This high flow valve unit can achieve flows of 1200 l/min. The integrated poppet cartridge valves have very low leakage and long life in demanding conditions.
MIXING OF REAGENTS IN CHROMATOGRAPHY
Equal distances between all inputs and the highly repeatable valves employed ensure an accurate mixing of reagents while eliminating much tubing. The configuration, the number of valves and base material can be adapted to the customer application.
PRESSURE CONTROL IN ANAESTHESIA
The customised manifold reduced overall leakage and is easily assembled into the existing machine.
FLOW CONTROL OF DE-IONISED WATER IN IN-VITRO DIAGNOSTICS
One part number solution with costumer specific connectors and features allows easy assembly and integration into existing instruments.
