Oxygen concentrators improve the quality of life of patients who can not get sufficient oxygen out of the ambient air. Norgren’s customer, a European manufacturer of Oxygen concentrators, needed a compact solution for flow control, capable of high flows and with low leakage.
NORGRENSOLUTION
Using newly designed cartridge valves piloted by Microsol 15mm solenoid valves to produce flows of up to 1200 l/min, Norgren has created a solution which gives high performance, low power and long lifetime in demanding conditions.
ENGINEERINGADVANTAGE
This high flow valve unit can achieve flow of up to 1200 l / min. The compact design of the module helps to save space and assembly time and reduce cost.
FLUID CONTROL IN DENTAL STERILIZERS
By integrating all necessary components into one system, Norgren has helped its customer reduce assembly time and costs as well as significantly reducing the machine’s size.
MIXING OF REAGENTS IN CHROMATOGRAPHY
Equal distances between all inputs and the highly repeatable valves employed ensure an accurate mixing of reagents while eliminating much tubing. The configuration, the number of valves and base material can be adapted to the customer application.
PRESSURE CONTROL IN ANAESTHESIA
The customised manifold reduced overall leakage and is easily assembled into the existing machine.
FLOW CONTROL OF DE-IONISED WATER IN IN-VITRO DIAGNOSTICS
One part number solution with costumer specific connectors and features allows easy assembly and integration into existing instruments.
