From humble beginnings in his workshop, Carl Norgren laid the groundwork for a corporation which today is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of pneumatic and fluid control solutions. Keeping this entrepreneurial spirit alive, Norgren continues to focus on innovative products and services.

Carl Norgren believed customers were the most important aspect in business, which is why Norgren has maintained customer focus since its beginning. Our founder asked that his employees value the customer and work by the motto “Long Live Our Customer and Our Business”.

The Beginning

One of the key breakthroughs in the early years of Norgren was a sales call made to Detroit in 1927. While meeting with engineers of a major auto manufacturer, Mr. Norgren sketched a system designed to solve the maintenance and lubrication problems the auto manufacturer was having with its air tools and equipment. This rough drawing became an ingenious reality resulting in the first in-line lubricator and paved the road of innovation.
