Norgren at SPS Nuremberg: Sustainable solutions for Industrial Automation
Norgren, part of IMI plc, is set to showcase the latest innovations in sustainable and energy efficient Industrial Automation at this year's SPS event, from 14 – 16 November.

As energy costs continue to escalate and the journey to decarbonising industry gathers pace, Norgren will demonstrate products and solutions to support customers in the industrial automation sector as they look to overcome these challenges. Located in Hall 1, stand 610, the demonstrations will highlight Norgren’s technical innovation across its extensive product portfolio, which is already delivering proven performance and playing a pivotal role in driving the sustainability agenda for OEMs and end users.
Following the acquisition of Bahr Modultechnik, a leading provider of highly specialised modular electric linear axis systems, Norgren is introducing an expanded portfolio of electric and pneumatic motion solutions at SPS – offering more than 100 million linear and multi-axis configurations.
In addition, Norgren’s stand will include demonstrations of the company’s innovative connected valve islands, including the first opportunity to see the next-generation VRQ range, featuring integrated sensing modules and onboard diagnostics, ahead of its launch to market.
Visitors to the show are also able to meet with Norgren’s team of expert application engineers who will be happy to discuss any application challenges, particularly around long-term sustainability solutions.
Matt Dixon, Marketing Manager IA EMEA, says: "The Industrial automation industry is having to tackle the current sustainability challenges and the recent increase in energy costs has brought areas such as optimised energy consumption into focus. At SPS in Nuremberg, visitors to the Norgren stand can see how these issues can be addressed with a range of innovative, tried and tested solutions that reduce energy consumption and maximise operational efficiency."
