Norgren’s extensive portfolio of Valve Manifold solutions is now offering comprehensive connectivity options for industrial users.
Across the extensive and well established VM, VR and VS series, a wide range of connectivity choices are now available, making Norgren the ideal one-stop-shop for Valve Manifold expertise, whatever the application.
The versatility of the VS Series is demonstrated through its extensive connection capability. From simple Multipol through to complex Fieldbus, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP or IO-Link applications, users can easily expand the size of their valve islands thanks to a simple modular ‘plug and play’ solution.
Likewise, the VM Series - available in both 10 mm and 15 mm valve body widths and unsurpassed flow rates - also offers fast and easy connectivity via individually wired, Multipole, Fieldbus, PROFINET or EtherNet/IP solutions.
New additions to the VR range
Two new enhancements have been made to Norgren’s comprehensive valve manifold portfolio to further develop its support for customers, and deliver even more connectivity options that include 24V DC & 12V DC Multipole, Ethernet/IP, PROFINET, EtherCat and IO-Link within the VR range.
The Norgren VR series is the latest connected product solutions for 10 and 15mm valve island body sizes. Offering a series of features and benefits, the new solution takes flexibility and modularity to new levels. A simple plug-in, sub-base style design allows for valves to be easily exchanged for speedy installation and system expansion as well as supporting ongoing maintenance requirements.
With established expertise in the market, Norgren has been providing valve manifold solutions for 20 years. The enhanced VR series builds upon this heritage by creating a simple, high performing and connected solution for industrial automation and motion control valve island requirements that are ideal for food & beverage, machine tools, mechanical, packaging, materials handling and paper sectors.
A host of new benefits
Using proven technology to deliver reliability of operation and user confidence, as well as enhanced connectivity options, the new Norgren VR10 and VR15 valve islands also include:
Integrated silencers and fittings with simple replacement capability
A range of connection orientation options for both horizontal and vertical installation
Compact and lightweight metal body for use in challenging environments
Easy maintenance, with a simple plug-in sub-base valve exchange and interruption-free valve replacement options
Ronald Bennett, Global Product Marketing Manager – valves, for Norgren, said: “The connectivity enhancements to the Norgren VR10 and VR15 valve manifolds, means we’re now able to meet growing customer demand for widescale connected technology and parts. Our existing comprehensive portfolio already offers a wide spectrum of connectivity solutions from simple Multipole to more complex Fieldbus or PROFINET systems. The ability to link the new VR solutions using Industrial Ethernet or IO-Link ensures engineers are able to gain further data-driven performance insight and help optimize operational efficiencies and productivity.”
Customers can also use the Norgren online configuration tool to customize the valve manifold to best suit their needs for valves and complementing fixtures and accessories to deliver a bespoke solution.
