Automating heavy part handling: how a turnkey solution improved safety and throughput for a US automotive OEM

Manually handling heavy, awkwardly shaped roll formed parts on a high volume assembly line creates two persistent challenges for automotive manufacturers: protecting operators from ergonomic risk, and maintaining the throughput needed to meet production targets.
