A career in engineering isn't always shaped by a single moment of inspiration. For Noora Farzana, Design Engineer in IMI's UK New Product Development (NPD) team, it started with curiosity - watching her father design equipment for commercial kitchens and wondering how things worked. A decade on, that same curiosity is driving her work on next‑generation solenoid valves, sustainable technologies and digital connectivity - and shaping how she encourages more young women to consider engineering as a career.
