What is a Piston Seat Valve?
This article will explain what a Piston Seat Valve is, and how it works.
What is a Piston Seat Valve?
With piston seat valves, the tight shut-off of the volume flow takes place via a piston.
Where are they used?
Piston seat valves withstand high operating pressures and are made of materials easily chosen to cater for a wide variety of operating fluids.
How do they work?
The piston moving axially in the body of the valve housing carries out the opening and closing stroke resulting from the pressure differential between the valve inlet and outlet, acting on its differential areas. These stroke movements can be assisted by the actuating solenoid or by springs, according to the method of actuation.
