What is the Flex-on Filter Cleaning System?
This article will explain what the Flex-on Filter Cleaning System is, and how it works.
What is the Flex-on® Filter Cleaning System?
Flex-on® is a modular, flexible filter cleaning system of the Buschjost brand.
What are the benefits of the Buschjost Flex-on®?
The biggest advantage of the system is its flexibility: the user receives all the system's parts from a single source, which makes expensive and elaborate tank construction in self-management unnecessary.
Construction and manufacture of the Flex-on® system are based on the requirements of the EN 13445 standard, harmonised with the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU. This ensures safe usage of the pressure vessel from the initial commissioning onwards; further pressure tests and risk analyses by the user are no longer necessary. This saves both time and money.
Thanks to its modular construction, the Flex-on® system can be adapted perfectly to the individual requirements of the user. Due to Plug and Play, a particularly easy integration into existing units is possible. A tank forms the basis of the system. It is made of a high-quality aluminum profile that is durable and non-corrosive. Its smooth surface makes the tank especially resistant to dust and dirt so that the system can also be used in the food industry without any problems.

Technical advantages
High Air Flow: Flex-on® provides up to 70% more flow than the best competing product.
To achieve the same flow, our Flex-on® would need 37.5% less operating pressure (= lower compressed air costs)
High Pressure Peaks: Flex-on® delivers up to 30% higher pressure peaks than the best competitive product. To achieve the same maximum, Flex-on® would require 19% less operating pressure.
Where are they used?
They are used in cleaning in filter systems.
Which variants are existing?
There are now three different Buschjost filter cleaning systems with inner diameters 75, 135 and 200 mm. Depending on the requirements, the tank is equipped with filter valves of nominal diameter DN 25 (for the two smaller variants) or DN 40 to DN 65. At maximum length, it offers space for up to 20 valves.
